Villa in Bonn

This spacious villa in the German of Bonn, the capital city during the country’s partition, was the former home of a celebrated West German chancellor.

Interior designer Gemma Dudgeon was called to refurbish the entire house for the new owners, a British/German couple and their young children. New life was brought to the tired interiors, with Gemma’s typical masterful touch with light, colours and textures to complement the new bespoke furniture throughout. The turn of the century villa was thus modernised and restored to its former glory and elegance, and fit for 21st century living.
