Adam Butler Biography
Adam Butler was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1965 and now lives in
Marylebone in central London with his Canadian wife and two small children.
He studied at the Courtauld Institute of Art.
His photographs have been widely exhibited and collected worldwide; in 1996 he was
awarded the Photography Prize at the SAAC exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy.
A book of his photographs of the island of Panarea was published in 1998
(Iditella Press)
and he was also the main author of the bestselling "The Art Book" for Phaidon Press.
